We are selling our Dufour 36 Classic in Greece due to unforeseen health circumstances.
Currently, we are still sailing in the Ionian and we are planning to haul out at the end of September 2024. Winter storage on the hard is already paid for. (until June 2024 but can be easily extended if needed). During the last year, the boat has undergone many upgrades which makes her a perfect match for liveaboards! The boat is quite beamy for its length (3.77m on 11.07m length) which creates a nice living space while still easy to maneuver. The engine and gearbox are in good condition and a new propeller has been installed.
A YouTube video is included in the ad.

This Dufour 36 Classic is the comfortable two-cabin owner's version. She combines a good sailing performance with a nice accommodation layout making her a popular mid-sized cruiser. She recently has undergone lots of upgrades which makes her perfect for living on.

The Dufour 36 Classic, as her name suggests, offers more conservative lines and an attractive traditional look. This design ethos is carried through with her sailing abilities and sea-kindly manner where her unexaggerated beam and battened mainsail aid her sporty and responsive performance.

Stepping aboard from her sugarscoop transom you enter the teak-lined cockpit. The central wheel and binnacle houses adequate instrumentation and being the two cabin owner's version, there is a huge deep cockpit locker to starboard. Wide side-decks allow easy access forward and a practical very deep anchor locker ensures there are no tangles with anchor chain.

Descending the companionway steps the chart table and navigation area are located to port with access to a very spacious aft double cabin with good locker stowage behind this. Forward of the navigation area is the saloon table that is surrounded by 'L' shaped seating to port and an island seat across the salon table amidships. Opposite to starboard is the longitudinal galley with convenient and extensive stowage. The forepeak area houses the owner`s cabin with a double berth offset to port, a small seating area, and good stowage. There is lovely joinery throughout the yacht all in a traditional style, as you would expect in this “classic”. A good-sized head/shower compartment is to the starboard side of the companionway steps, while the engine is under the steps.

The “owner's version” is quite rare to the market so she represents a good opportunity if you're looking for a modern classic!
