The Dehler 38 is the best-selling model in Dehler's range in modern times, over 500 boats have been produced since its introduction, in Sweden over 40 sail. Why is the model so popular? The combination of an excellent sailor with a comfort beyond the ordinary makes the Dehler 38 super popular. After the introduction, the shipyard has created the Dehler 46SQ, Dehler 42 and Dehler 34 based on the unique design of the Dehler 38.   


This Dehler 38 is a Generation 3 boat with the optional Fathead mainsail. On hamnen.se there is a very good report about Dehler Sweden's demo boat that had pretty much the same options as this boat, the test was carried out in September 2022. The owner of this Dehler 38SQ had an extremely well-equipped Dehler 32 before this boat. When ordering, they had a clear picture of what options were to be made, and what upgrades were to be made after delivery.  The boat is fully specced with all options for comfortable sailing: Inverter, solar panel, AGM/lithium batteries, bow thruster, electric toilet and very nice options such as light wood and Flexiteak. In terms of performance, everything is top notch with Fathead mainsail, rudder rigging, competition rudder with stainless rudderpost, larger winches, inhaulers for the jib Code 0 on a furler, Gennaker on a furler.  There are no faults with the boat, everything is 100% top! A private owner since delivery.
