Picara is a beautifully constructed, blue water capable yacht ready to take you anywhere in the world. She was built in Canada in 2008 (with the original hull from 1982), and a new engine was installed in 2016. Set up for comfortable self-sufficient living she is ready to go. She sails well at all angles to the wind and is easy to handle with 2 people. She has a monitor wind vane for hands free steering. Her uniquely handcrafted cabin is constructed from native Canadian timbers and feels much more spacious than other boats her size. She has a Garmin chart plotter, depth sounder, radar and is AIS equipped. The kitchen is well set up with a fridge, gas oven and gas stove, and fold up bench extender so you can really spread out. We have sailed her from New Zealand through Indonesia to Malaysia over the last 4 years, and couldn't have asked for a better boat. Unfortunately the time has come for us to return to land so she is now looking for new owners, more details below and don't hesitate to contact for more information. o Main Sail -this sail is degraded, has multiple rips in it and will need replacing for any offshore sailing. We have still been using it to get from A to B.

o Pole for furling jib and pole for stay sail. She does not have a spinnaker but sails very well downwind with poled out headsail and stay sail.
