Those of you who have been searching for catamarans for a while, already know the boxes you would like ticked in reference to size, price, performance, and space. Some of you may bypass a Lagoon 380 thinking it may be too small for you.......... But you may want to think again!
This family of 4 have been cruising on this Lagoon 380 for many years, the parents beginning their journeys on her before the kids came along, and then they have raised their family onboard, and travelled mostly the Pacific, South East Asian, and Australian coast lines. The children are interested in going to school now, and for the moment, this family plan on a land based high schooling experience, and then hopefully, coming back to the water in a few years. They are the second owners of this Owners Version S2, that has never been in charter.
They have literally just sailed in from West Coast Sumatra, so she is a ready to go boat. With a full cruising kitty.
Inclusive of watermaker, 7 year old rigging, Engines with less than 3000 hours, Batteries replaced in 2023, and new saloon upholstery.
One of my most favourite features of the Lagoon 380s are the galley/ saloon and cockpit flow through. With the sliding window in-front of the sink open and the servery bench folded down, you really have a fully inclusive, comfortable and practical living space. Lagoons are easy to sail short or single handed, famous for their 360 degree views, and their roominess, airflow, and sizeable cabins. This one has the added advantage of being an owners version, with an entire hull dedicated to a couple ( Parents/ owners) with a walk in shower space, and even a small office desk.
The owners are admit-ably reluctant sellers. They love their home so much. But another chapter awaits them, and they are hoping to pass her on to like minded people who will continue to go on adventures with their family and friends. They are currently getting a few jobs done, inclusive of fresh antifouling, and a polish, and will continue to honour those jobs if a buyer jumps on this opportunity before they are finished. She is on the hard stand here in Rebak Marina, Langkawi. ( Google it, its an amazing resort marina!)
A perfect place to get to know your boat, right on the border of Thailand.
