COMMON LAGOON 42 ISSUES PREVENTED / REPAIRED
Strengthened steering pulleys to prevent hull cracking.
Emergency hatches resealed and brackets professionally fitted with helicoils.
Lewmar hatches replaced and serviced to prevent galvanic corrosion. If the hatches can't be separated, the seals cannot be changed. This is a very common problem!
Saloon portlights replaced with upgraded model (new Jan 25)
Crossbeam completely replaced with new version to limit galvanic corrosion.
Upgraded dinghy davit pads fitted with larger bolts.
Transom step edge strengthened.
Jib track end caps bolted through to fixed metal plates to allow car servicing.

We are selling our home of six years, a highly sort after owners version Lagoon 42. Purchased from new, we have significantly upgraded her for off-the-grid global cruising including a watermaker, solar, lithium, electric / gas cooking, new refrigeration, starlink and iridium, additional sails, safety equipment, accessories and many spares. She is in great condition, having been maintained to an extremely high level and is ready for her new owner to step aboard and sail away for the 2025 Mediterranean season. We have been totally self-sufficient on solar/batteries for the last six years in the Caribbean, US and Europe (excluding wintering period) with no generator required. We purchased a Honda 2200W suitcase generator in preparation for sailing in the Mediterranean but this has remained unused. As Tiki Tour has been our home we have made a lot of additions to improve live-aboard comfort and entertainment!
We are currently wintering in Crete, Greece but are willing to consider delivery elsewhere in the Mediterranean, along with an accompanied period to assist the new owner to learn the systems, maintenance routine and sail setup.
