The Lagoon 420 is one of Lagoon's most successful designs, renowned for its robust construction and generous interior volume. With solid fiberglass below the waterline, it provides peace of mind in remote anchorages. This model is favoured by cruising families and those who entertain or live aboard, thanks to its spacious guest accommodations and tall cockpit area for gatherings.

The expansive cockpit offers a comfortable space for family and friends to enjoy meals in a well-protected area. It is fully enclosed with sunscreen covers and features an additional layer of plastic screens for rainy days.

YOLO is a 2007 model with 4 cabins, equipped with a robust 150 L/h watermaker and a 17 kW Onan generator. Originally powered by electric saildrives, she was upgraded in 2008 with two Yanmar 40 hp engines. An electric winch facilitates manoeuvres at the helm, making it easy to sail with a reduced crew--one person can handle this boat with ease.

Meticulously maintained by her current owners, who purchased her in the Tahiti in Nov. 2024, YOLO has been outfitted for extended cruising. Upgrades (Dec. 2024) include new LiFePO Battery bank (990AH) with sophisticated battery monitor, new Raymarine navigation electronics (incl. 12" Axiom Plotter) and second autopilot.

In 2019, YOLO has been outfitted for extended cruising by the previous owners. Upgrades include solar panels, new sails, new rigging, a new dinghy, a new outboard, a new liferaft, and a reinforced mast track. These preparations enabled a successful transatlantic crossing, followed by voyages through the Caribbean and Pacific, all in full comfort and safety.

YOLO arrived in French Polynesia at the end of July 2023. She offers a unique opportunity to enjoy another year in this paradise before continuing on to New Zealand or Australia; temporary admission is ending in July 2025.

She has just been haul out for the annual servicing and bottom paint.
