How is the yacht maintained, are there any invoices available concerning the maintenance?
We have maintained the yacht and used professional care or maintenance when necessary. All safety and security is inspected every 5 years. We have equipped the yacht with all electronics that we feel are important for safe voyages, including installing AIS (transponder), battery monitoring, working navigation instruments etcetera. An outdoor VHF-station allows the helmsman to operate the VHF without leaving the helm.

Other remarks:
The Missy-H has brought us to the most memorable places in life, bringing us joy for the whole family. We hate to let her go, but we are confident that she'll be a new happy place for the next owners!

Since when are you the owner of the yacht? How many owners?
We are the third owners of the ship. It was originally delivered in the Netherlands and has sailed here ever since. We purchased the boat in 2015, when the previous owner bought a bigger model as a liveaboard.

Was the yacht regularly ashore during winterperiods? Every year?
We sail year-round, so we have kept her in the water during most winters. We haul her out every 4 to 5 year for inspection and cleaning.

What can you tell about the sailing characteristics?
She sails perfectly well. All lines lead to the steering position, which makes the yacht ideal for single handled sailing or voyages with limited crew. The roller mainsail and genua allow for perfect and stressfree reefing. The mechanism has never failed. The ship feels comfortable on every wind angle.
What is the boat name and the (special) meaning of this name?
The Missy-H was the name given by the previous owner. We liked the name and kept it!
What’s the reason for selling the yacht?
We really enjoyed sailing with our boat, but we have been looking for a larger boat to accommodate our growing family. We have found a larger sailboat and hope to see the Missy-H sailing by often!
Where have you been sailing (sailing area)?
We have been sailing within and around the Netherlands, primarily the Ijsselmeer/Markermeer area (non-salt) with occasional trips to the islands in the Waddenzee or the south of Netherlands (salt).
