A development of the successful Oyster 45, the 47 had the same proven rig and accommodation layout as her smaller sister. Buyers had requested increased deck storage so designers Holman and Pye responded by extending the hull and deck of the 45 to allow a deep and spacious aft lazarette. Thirteen Oyster 47s were launched between 2000 and 2004.
JOSEPHINE comes to the market as a very clean and nicely prepared listing. She is hull number 23. Recently re launched after a mini refit.... The mast was unstepped and re painted, sails cleaned and inspected, teak decks taken back and re caulked and main engine given a thorough service. The interior received new GreenTex upholstery throughout and all new mattresses.
