The Westerly Storm is a model that is well rated for seaworthiness and performance for its era.

This example looks smart with synthetic teak decks and nice woodwork inside. It has a tiller rather than a wheel and an abundance of navigation equipment.
The interior of the cockpit looks worn compared with the deck covering so is a candidate for similar treatment.

The sprayhood looks sound, but could do with a clean. The running rigging seems good and I saw no apparent defects in the standing rigging.

The galley is very practical and includes a microwave as well as two burner cooker, two sinks and a cool box.

As is often the case with Westerly the headlining on the side of the saloon and around the hatch in the forward cabin sags.

The engine is the original Volvo 18hp.

A survey would establish that and help the new owner with a checklist to make the most of these well-rated boats.
