This is an early (Mk I) Mirage 28, one of over 500 of these popular yachts built in the UK during the 1970's and '80's. Well designed and thought out, the fin keeled version performs well and is a strong, seagoing family cruiser with a quality fit out below

This boat has been in the same family for years, a regular across the channel but now she's been in the yard for a while due to ill health. Recent upgrades include a replacement engine (still only 30 ish hours), standing rigging and upholstery. She has a good suit of sails, they're clean and dry and look in good order and although her navigation instruments are old they should do the job.

She is remarkably clean, dry and fresh below. Both the upholstery and headlinings are recently replaced and very smart and the long windows give her a bright airy feel. She has a well equipped galley, lots of usable storage and is ashore in a good clean yard to be prepped for the season
