Description
Well equipped Ovni 445, 2011 model
This model is specially equipped for long-distance travel, especially with regard to the polar regions. A more well-equipped Ovni 445 is unlikely to have been sent out from the yard. The hull is reinforced in the bow with regard to ice, but this can also be important in the event of a collision with objects in the sea.
The windscreen is glass in an aluminum frame. With a solid sprayhood and the option to cover behind it, it's like sitting in a wheelhouse.
There are two good heat sources on board and the hull is extra insulated for cold waters
Water tanks 500 litres, diesel 700 litres
Eberspächer 5 Kw 2022,
Dickinson Antarctica diesel burner in saloon
Watermaker 60l/h
For those unfamiliar with this unique type of boat, the following can be mentioned: Aluminum hull, strong and safe, less maintenance. The keel protrudes almost 3 metres, but can be swung in, so the boat floats at 1.05 metres. It gives access to harbors and waters where no other such large sailboats can go. In the event of a ground impact, the keel swings in automatically. The boat can be dry-docked at low tide.
