The Sailart 20 is a trailerable sailboat with a retractable keel, manufactured in Germany. The boat was sold new in Sweden in 2006 by Bavaria Fabola (documentation available), but was barely used by the first owners. We bought the boat in 2011 and unfortunately have not used it more than a few short day trips over the years, and now we have become too old to sail. The boat is located at Bullandö Marina on Värmdö with professional insertion and removal and has been in the water during the summer, but basically only at the dock. Therefore, the boat is in almost new condition and has been stored covered during the winter and regularly washed and waxed thereafter. The sails are original and barely used. They have been stored indoors in their sail bags (original included) during the winter and on the mast under the sail cover during the summer. The cushions are in new condition and no one has slept in the boat. As the engine that came with the boat had a smaller built-in tank, we replaced the engine with a long-shafted Honda with an external tank that was bought new from the factory and has hardly been used. The boat and engine have never been involved in accidents or groundings.
This is a rare opportunity to acquire a boat with similar features as the much simpler Campus Fabola, i.e. a retractable keel that allows you to enter shallow bays and lie on motorboat berths at docks. The boat only draws 0.6 meters with the keel raised, which is operated with a winch.
The boat is exclusively equipped at the level of much more expensive boats with solar panels on the roof, self-tacking jib, fittings and winches from Harken. Please read the review at https://www.praktisktbatagande.se/e-tester/campus-66-vs-sailart-20 and feel free to google what much more used Sailart boats cost.
The boat is on display on land until May 29th and then in the water.
