Fantastic day sailor for the whole family

This almost completely open boat, except for the targa arch on which the mast stands, provides many seats and the ability to distribute weight between the bow and stern. It is stable despite its low dry weight thanks to the retractable keel and water ballast tank. It sails well even in light winds.

The spacious cockpit has the boom at a safe height. (The helmsman can sit with his back against the pushpit for a good overview and out of reach of the boom.) Cushions in the open forepeak with high freeboard, a popular spot for children (and their parents).

A two-part cover protects the cockpit, with one part functioning as a sprayhood. Self-draining with just the sprayhood by pulling out the hatch over the cockpit floor. The forepeak is covered by a separate cover.

Swim ladder and separate handle, great for swimming and easy to climb up. Storage under the benches in the cockpit and in the freeboards in the forepeak.

All equipment for a ready-to-sail boat:

  • Mast, shrouds, stays, spreaders, boom, rudder, tiller
  • Main, jib, and genoa sails
  • All ropes, halyards, sheets, boom vang, etc.
  • Windex slightly damaged but fully functional
  • Cushions for the forepeak

Trailerable with a B driver's license and motorboat trailer thanks to its low dry weight and retractable keel.

Length: 595 cm
Width: 215 cm
Height: about 800 cm (foldable mast)
Depth: 105 cm or 18 cm (retractable/foldable)
Weight: 445 kg (dry) including retractable keel 55 kg
Weight: 565 kg (ready to sail) including ballast 120 liters of water
Sail area: 16 square meters
Year: 2000

The water ballast is filled by opening a screwable through-hull fitting. The ballast can then be pumped out with a hand pump or let the water drain out when lifting on the trailer/slip. The retractable keel can be pulled up or folded up to enter shallow bays. The rudder is also retractable.

Instruction manual for rigging. Bottom cleaned (required by boat club in Lake Mälaren) and epoxy treated by Båtvårdsspecialisten for over 20,000 SEK (receipt available). Easy to rinse off in the fall and just put back in the water in the spring.

Includes a small Mariner two-stroke engine with a built-in tank. It was stored for 3 years, started on the second try, and runs smoothly.

The boat is now launched but is not fully equipped or rigged due to the sale. It is located in Lake Mälaren at Bromma, Stockholm, for pickup. A slip is available, and it is easy to load onto a boat trailer.

Also available (sold separately):

  • Fabola trailer BT-850B, newly inspected 80 km/h braked boat trailer (reg. no. TWK472)
  • Torqeedo Cruise 2.0 T 24V electric motor
  • Exide AGM batteries (4 pcs 12V) sparingly used and continuously well maintained
  • Simple cover frame
