Boats on Wheels have ordered a new BTC-22 Mark 2 demonstrator for use on the South Coast. Here is your chance to own 50% of it!
The British built BTC-22 performance trailer sailer has been designed around the needs of single handed, family and racing sailers alike.Boasting a resin infused hull for a high degree of ‘stiffness’ whilst weighing only 940kg the BTC-22 also offers a powerful rig, a large open cockpit, coupled with a contemporary hull shape, long water line and twin rudders. So, the BTC-22 is sure to please the sporty sailor whether single handed or with a full racing crew. The deck plan uses modern, high spec trimming systems, making for an efficient sailing experience with maximum enjoyment. The cockpit has three lockers, including one, under the cockpit sole, large enough to stow an outboard motor.
The BTC22 is a fun family boat too with plenty of room below deck. In the large airy cabin the BTC22 has 4 berths – one generous 2 metre V berth and two giant settee berths measuring 2.5 metres each. The demonstrator comes with a galley unit and a space below the V berth with a removable chemical toilet - so, you have all the components needed for comfortable overnight stays.
Boats on Wheels have ordered the latest Mark 2 version of the BTC22 as a demonstrator with a long list of improvements to the Mark 1. This new boat boasts a cored hull and deck for buoyancy and better thermal and sound insulation, more freeboard for a drier ride, an even larger cockpit, a refined stainless steel/carbon fibre rod steering system, frameless bonded windows, composite toe rails and more outboard stanchions for wider gangways.
The demonstrator boat we've ordered is the performance version is fitted with a lifting bulb keel and more sail area. The demonstrator will need to be based around the Solent on the South Coast but there is some flexibility regarding exact location. Demonstrators tend not to be used frequently and certainly not for lengthy holidays. So, we're offering the opportunity to own a 50% share of one of these exciting boats with the option of taking over complete ownership in time.
The demonstrator will be available from the end of May 2023, and at £24,950 inc. VAT, it won't break the bank. So, here is the opportunity to cruise in a new boat this season - get in touch for more details now!
