Timeless Offshore Cruiser for Sale — Bénéteau Océanis 510

Bénéteau has long held its place at the forefront of yacht manufacturing, and the Océanis 510 stands as a testament to the brand’s enduring commitment to craftsmanship and innovation. Evolving from the hugely popular Océanis 500—of which over 200 units were delivered—the 510 represents a refined evolution, with just around 100 examples produced.

Penned by Philippe Briand early in his distinguished career, this model features a performance-oriented hull offering strong downwind capability and nimble handling, particularly useful in confined spaces. The wide beam translates into a spacious interior and generous deck layout, all finished with elegant woodwork and smart design details.

The sail plan is entirely furling, supported by large, robust winches—a sign of the build quality of its time. On deck, dual helm stations provide both control and comfort, while the easy step-down to the aft swim platform was a breakthrough design when first introduced.

This yacht is the desirable owner’s layout, offering three sizable double cabins each with private heads, as well as a separate crew cabin forward. She is fully equipped and ready to sail.

Recent improvements include:

Newly upholstered interiors and refurbished headliners
Full hull preparation and fresh antifouling treatment
Recently updated in-mast furling system with electric winch
While the teak decks show signs of wear, the standing and running rigging remain serviceable. The engine is mechanically reliable, though a cosmetic refresh would be beneficial. Onboard electronics are dated but functional and complete.

After a quiet period due to limited use, this vessel is now ready for a new chapter. With minimal cosmetic investment, she can once again become a capable and comfortable cruiser for extended voyages.

A wonderful opportunity to own a distinguished model from Bénéteau’s golden era.
